Tropika Development is dedicated to the development of luxury single-family residences. Based in Miami FL, Tropika is involved in every step from site acquisition, architectural design, construction management, and sale.

Leadership

With over 12 years of direct experience in real estate comprising of hospitality, multifamily and residential projects, Geraldine oversees the firm’s development strategy, acquisitions, construction financing, design development and sales.

Prior to founding Tropika Development, Geraldine worked with South Florida’s largest Developer, the Related Group, in their Multifamily Development division gaining valuable experience in all stages of the development process in multifamily and mixed-use projects. She began her career when she acquired and led the renovation and sale of a boutique hotel in Miami Beach.

Geraldine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Miami and an MBA in Real Estate Finance from the University of Miami. She is a licensed real estate agent.

Kevin Hidalgo is the co-founder of Tropika Development, a real estate development firm based in Miami Florida. Tropika Development specializes in building luxury single-family homes in South Florida’s most exclusive neighborhoods.

Kevin holds a General Contractor’s License in the State of Florida. He oversees all daily operations of construction, making sure each project is delivered on time, on budget, and with high-quality products.

Prior to founding Tropika Development, Kevin worked at Plaza Construction, one of the nations leading construction management and general contracting firms. He worked on the Ritz-Carlton Residences project, a 111-unit luxury condo building in Miami Beach, FL. He began his career working for a consulting engineering firm in Washington D.C.
